How often does GPS update your location. I just installed it in my mp3 system and it does it about every 15 sec. Is there any way to go faster ?

I was looking in the registry if i could decrease from 15s to like 5 or 10 sec. But i can't find it. I also use mappoint and i hate the 15 sec delay for every reading =(
I know that Streetfinder 2000 does it almost every second but the fonts are hard to see in a small screen. I have a 5.6" and i can't read it.
