So i got the PSU and it looks great, the only problem is that the ATX wire that goes the from the PSU to the MoBo has 2 jumper style connectors coming back from the mobo that eveidently need to be connected to the PSU. one of them is a three pin connector (and there is only 1 three pin spot on teh PSU, so that is no prob), but the other one is 1 pin in a 2 pin style connector. I looked it up and it is the PW_OK pin (grey wire). But there are 2 places with 2 pin jumpers on the PSU, and i dont know which it is. If i get it wrong will the PSU just not power up the computer or will I do some damage?

Before any smartass says "RTFM", no manual was included and i couldnt find one on the arise site or on the internet. Any help is much appreciated.

Power good should be hooked up to "CN4" - are the two 2pin jumpers marked at all? A bit more info is available here: http://www.mgpower.com/specfile/MPD-810H.pdf

thank you, it is marked (CN X) the X being under the jumper, but that diagram clarified it for me completley.

I am on spring break, so this install should be done by thursday (if not, it may be a while after that ) but i will post pics and a quick write up (esp of the PSU) when i am done.

Did you happen to get a quote from Magic Power when you were shopping around? I think they sell this thing for even cheaper than Arise (!) but they are just as secretive about prices.

No, i was so excited to get a 100 Watt Dc-Dc converer for $79 (after hearing nothing but opus opus opus on this board for $160+) that i snapped it up.

In doing research on how to hook it up i found out magicpower sells them too. I dont believe you could beat $79 but if they could that would be amazing!

It is a little bigger than i expected, but still very reasonably sized. Just as an FYI.
