USB Ext. Harddrive to PDA

I found a link to this computer student who wrote drivers for this. He had a PDA with Win 2002 and had a USB Port CF card. The Ipaq read the USB Drive and he had all his mp3's on it. ANybody else know anything like this?

I think an alternative is a reverse CF-IDE adaptor that allows you plugs into a CF slot and extends it a little way so you can plug in an IDE cable (preferably a 2.5 inch drive!). Then all you have to do is find a way to power the drive and you would be set- theoritically the PDA would pick up the drive just fine. I did find a reverse Cf-IDE adaptor once but i had many questions as if it would actually work or not.

There is a company that is coming out with a product specifically for this! And it uses a 2.5 inch laptop drive that is powered by rechargable AAs.
