iv got a via 800 that has win me on it had to reformat the drive and boot from the cd to load win me i had changed it in the bios from hdd1 to cd1

all things went well during load up and updates but now when i change the boot up from cd1 to hdd1 (and even hdd2 ) it either ask to boot from cd or hd

ive changed the boot to hdd1 and it ask that to insert the boot disk and hit enter ---- hat have i done i have never ran into this befor

i think there may be an option in the bios that will display a boot menu until you turn it off.

yeah i tried every thing to get it to just boot from the hd im gonna give it one more shot tonight if not then ill go to xp i just had an extra copy of me so ill have to go out and buy a new copy of xp pro or home
