RS232->USB

I currently need to get a RS232 > USB converter. There are many available however I need to find out that will transmit the USB power thru one of the DB9 pins so I can power my GPS from it. Does anybody have one that they can confirm will do this?

This one does for sure. I got it from glob2000 at the bottom which is the cheapest ($16.98), but I would think they all do.

Thanks, do you know which pin it transmits the power on?

Also have do their drivers work under winXP? I read a product review and the guy said on XP the driver caused a crash often.

Both the ouputs (DTR and CTS) have 5V on them. The driver has been fine on 2 computers running XP (with tons of USB crap on them) even though the date on this driver is 7/16/2003. I guess that's not really that old.
