Speakers setup and placement

Since I can't use the existing HU (GM data-bus) I have to use an external AMP, which is fine, however and based on answers I got here, I can't just hook the 2 AMPs to the existing speakers. So, I have to get 4 speakers to be used exclusively by the pc - overkill, may be, but I can't just disconnect the existing speakers off the HU, warnings and such need them.
1) Is there any considerations, acoustic wise, as far as speaker placement is concerned, do I need special enclosure, location, etc..
2) Can I utilize the existing speakers for the new AMP and somehow route the HU output to the PC or the new AMP (that would be better solution.
The existing speakers are not the stock ones, those were replaced a year ago with 4 speakers that cost me at the time $150.

Thanks folks.
