Extending USB 10' + for slim DVD drive.
Anyone run into problems? I plan to relocate my dvd-drive to the glovebox. I just ran a 10 feet USB extension (M to F) cable from the trunk to the globe box. I don't have the USB slim drive yet so I didn't get to try. This is the one I odered: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg...=UTF8&v=glance

It uses a external 5v power supply. Hopefully I can just extend 5v from a molex from the PSU.

I found a similar drive that claims to not need extenal power: http://www.targus.com/us/product_det...?sku=PADVD010U anyone have experience with these? This would be even better!
