Question 1994 Honda Accord CD Changer In to Aux In?

Hi guys,

This is my frist post, as I'm just joining the scene. I am working on building a small inexpensive player for my car, but I was checking whether or not my head unit has an aux in. I have a 1994 Honda Accord with the stock head unit. It has a CD Changer input in the back, but that's it. I dont have a CD Changer right now, so I was wondering if there's anyway I can modify this to take in MP3 audio. I've looked through the previous threads, and I found no mention of anything specific to my case. If anyone's had experience with this or knows who manufactured the head unit for that model let me know. I'm not a big expert on car parts, etc, so any help would be great! Thanks in advance.

Ok, I took my head unit out again, and it turns out that the back of the unit has 3 input ports: the antenna input, the big power/speakers plug, and a cd changer input. The CD Changer Input is an 8P DIN Socket. From what I heard on other threads, Honda factory head units support Alpine only CD Changers? Anyone have more information about where I might be able to find an RCA adapter or how I could hack into that CD Changer in? Thanks

I've looked at Crutchfield parts, and I haven't found anything. It seems like this has been a constant problem for a lot of people. The closet I've seen are interface adapters between the Honda head unit and CD Changers (i.e. panasonic and alpine) Does anyone have pinout diagrams for these interfaces? And I've read somewhere that there's a way to fool the trigger into thinking the CD Changer is in? Any news on that? Thanks for the suggestion Slick
