13 foot IDE ribbon cable?

is it possible to extend the ide ribbon cable like 13 feet? So i can mount my puter in the back, and the cd rom in the dash

nope. Your best bet is to get a usb to ide converter and run a usb lead to the back. You could put a usb hub up front then connect other stuff to it (ts, gps, ect)
