Someone on this board sent me a schematic, or you can buy one from pioneer.

Do you REALLY want to buy on? The retail is $35. I made one for less that $1. You just need 4 wires and a female 1/8" stereo jack.

I sat in my car for a half hour and messed with the ipbus plug and figured out what was right/left/ground.

lemme whip up a diagram real quick like.

I had to cancel on the seller I fell bad, but the $45 in my pocket makes me feel better.

One question, why does the pioneer one have power wires and all, where this is just 4 connectors. I cannot imagine that pioneer put the power wires just to make people think it was not easy to do.

All the other wires would be for controlling other IP-BUS devices, such as stackers, in dash TV's, steeringwheel remotes etc. The IP-BUS isn't just for connecting an AUX adaptor to.

sorry, let me rephrase, the pioneer unit has 3 wires you hook up, from the picture it looks like power, remote and ground. what are they for?

I know that the IP bus does all kinds of cool stuff.
