Adding devices and cards to VIA MII 10000

As far as adding soundcards, tv tuners, etc. How does it work with such small mobos?

I would imagine most people opt for USB devices, since there's only 1 PCI slot (which can be turned into 2 w/ a riser card).

Same as with any, PCI or USB 2.0.

The limitation on the PCI side is that because it such a small mobo only 1 PCI is available.

I've got two PCI cards in my Epia M1000. A 1 to 2 riser card and LCD card + wireless card. Plug and play just like a regular PC.

Works just like any other mobo, only with one PCI slot. If you are going to connect a lot of USB stuff make sure that they play nice on the hub. The PowerMate for one will take over a hub. Make sure that you have the same speed items on a hub because some of them step down to USB 1 if you plug in a USB 1 device.

Hmm, it's beginning to look like I might be better off just building a shuttle sized pc and putting it in the trunk. It would be cheaper and easier to add stuff.
