Question J-Link pinout

I know this topic has been beat to death, but has anyone found a pinout for JVC' Jlink connector? I have a Pioneer changer that I want to hook up to my JVC head unit. I've found the pinout for the changer. Maybe some one could help me figure it out from the back of the hu?

i think that this will help

I test it and it works on my JVC with no problem, you just must set on your radio to "line-in"!!!

is that to connect your JVC changer to your Sony head unit?
I noticed you're using a laptop, same as me, and I've also got a Sony head unit, I bought an XA-300 to connect my laptop to my headunit, you thought of that?

NO NO NO NEVER connect a JVC and sony together - they have different pinout (did you not read my post) and different language. (Unless anyone knows otherwise i am pretty sure this will screw up you stuff if you try)

thefreak, i was planning on using the lappy but as my sig says i am dumping it and going mobile athlon. It is a shame as i have loads of docking ports etc for my lappy and upgraded the ram and put a nice install of XP on but i cannot get 800x480 res so will buy a new PC - +I like using my laptop for my work.

The reason i want the cable is to link my PC to my headunit via a unlink cloning box. This fools the sony (with CD/MD changer control) into thinking that a changer is attached by sending a timing signal from a pic and then it also allows you to controlt he pc from the HU and the HU to display track info. I was gonna go with an amp but don't want to lose the ability to just turn the radio on with no pc running.

EDIT: i believe the box you have does the same as wht i am building but i will have the PC-HU data link for track changes and info and it should cost me about £20 to make including cables

H8tred666 look up some of the Sony unilink stuff as i believe i have seen a pinout for the JVC on one of those sites. Will have another look now....

Any idea what the rest of the pins are? The Pioneer has 11 pins, 10 of which are in use. The JVC has only 8.

So you could simply make a line in by using the pins 6, 7, and 8?

you can change the resolution with a third party app
called powerstrip
http://www.entechtaiwan.com/util/ps.shtm
additionally with this there's a setup text file that you can put in your custom screen resolution if you dont see it with default settings in powerstrip

J-link updated pin out

I know it's a late update to this thread, but it took me long enough to get the information too. Pinouts are from the labelling on the board itself. I'll be connecting up my cd changer direct this week and will post back when it's all working.
