Video on dual screens

It's been some time since this has been discussed last. I have a compsite flat screen and an 8" lilliput. I have them both hooked up to a Radeon 7000 card with the clone monitor setting. When I use FP or WMP, videos will only display on whichever monitor I have set as clone. Is there a fix available for this?

Dual monitor radeon works fine for me

I have this same setup but with Windows 2000, and it works great.

Are you saying the video doesn't even show up in the WMP window on your primary monitor? Do you just get a black box window?

On the primary monitor everything is good. The second monitor is an exact clone but the window where the video should be displayed, is black.

But you do have it working? Which video card, and which software does it work with? All? WMP? FP?

I'd say it's your overlay settings.

Right click the desktop, click on Properties -> Settings tab -> Advanced -> Overlay tab and have a fiddle until it works.

My apologies if you've already tried this.

Cheers,

Andy

No I havnt because I've heard conflicting things. Ive heard some people say it wont work on certain software regardless of your hardware. Ive heard others say you need a "dual head" video card. Whatever that is. Then in this thread HITLINES says he got his to work. You can do it with yours? Which video card? Works with WMP?

I found a setting in the overlay controls which allowed me to display video on both monitors. It works in WMP now but still not in FP. Any ideas?
