I bought one of these off ebay for about $10 about 6 months ago. Works fine for using my DVD burner on my laptop. I plan on using it on my CarPC to put my DVD player in the dash.

Yea, would be really nice if it did. I just received mine today,and the cable is short. Nothing an extension cant fix, but i agree. the length is terrible.

Mixed reviews and i cant attest to it's longevity, but it worked perfectly for 3 HDD's i had lying around tonight. Just remmeber to put the jumper on master and all is well.
