Neilallen is on a distinguished road
Hi,

I stumbled accross this thread while googling a similar problem. I have tried the suggestions here and still no joy. I have no other USB devices plugged in, I am running Windows XP SP2 so should have the drivers, I have checked my bios setup and there is no mention of speed choices there but everything about USB is enabled. So I am very confused.

The most confusing part is the end of the message that says click here to see a list of ports which are high speed. The problem being it then shows my only 6 USB ports that i have so it must have been plugged into one of those yet it still reports that this isnt a high speed port. In device manager there are 3 USB Host controllers only one of which says 2.0 in the name so could the other 2 be getting in the way of the high speed usb 1?

If anyone has any ideas that would be great.
