mini ITX vs atx or micro ATX

i know there are probably plenty of threads about this already but i;m looking for some more current reviews. i'm using an ATX mobo right now but i'm interested in the epia 12000 or 13000 and am wondering what people think of mini ITX vs a more traditional micro of full size ATX

what spurred this is the problem i am having with shock mounting. the pc is mounted in my trunk and my car is on coilovers so alot of impact can happen in the rear if i hit a bump and i have already ruined one mobo that way. i was thinking mini itx may be another way to go.
