Couple of XM radio Questions....

I'm sorry for being a newbie and asking newbie questions, but I searched and came up with way too many threads, but no direct answer.

I have this Dvd/cd player in my car:
http://www2.panasonic.com/webapp/wcs...00000000005702

And i'm looking into geting an XM or sirious radio in. All i want to know is what exactly do i need to get an XM in and to see it through the LCD screen. The brain of this unit is pretty accessible and it has couple of inputs in too.

Any links or help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Start your newbie searches in the FAQ Emporium. Look under Hardware, number 2 "adding XM"

And, as a direct response to your question, buy a SkiFi2, Roady2, Commander, MiFi, or XR9, and connect it via your audio aux-in on your headunit.

However, there is NO way to control XM through that headunit, as it isn't XM ready, and Panasonics weren't XM ready until this model year, which still hasn't made it to their screens.

So.. you can't with that screen, other than having an externally controlled unit.

Great. Thanks a lot.

Which one of those is actually good? And does it come with antenna too?

i am actually gonna go with sirius. I was listening to both online and i like sirius better.

However, i will sill have to get one of those units, as my POS 1400$ dvd player is not Sirius ready either.

Thanks guys.
