audio problem

I don't know if this is a horrible thing to do but I posted this in the car audio section and it hasn't been much help so I thought I'd try here.

I've been learking for about half a year but haven't posted yet....anyway I got my comp set up in my car and everything is great (runs perfect no amp poop no ground loops...thank good) but I do have one problem the output to my speakers is really low and I'm not sure exactly what it is I have some ideas but not positive.

1. I got a cheap amp to try and save money cus I'm on a tight budget....but I don't think that is the problem.
2. I'm still using stock speakers again to try and save money but I've never had a problem with them with my stock HU...so I don't think that would be the problem.
3. The line out/speaker jack on my computer isn't giving enough power.(that what I think it is.)

if it's #3 what could I do to fix that....I don't need it to be REALY load cus I don't listen to music that load but right now I can't hear the music very well on the highway going 70+ due to ground noise (and my exhaust isn't that quiet either)
