Ok, I have done a lot of reading on this post lately. I am about to start my own carputer project and I was hoping someone could just look it over for me and tell me if there is anything else I need and if it will work ok.

Also I was wondering, do you have to have a case for it or can I just mount everything in my glove box and just make a cover plate for it? I really dont want to spent $100-200 for something that I will just cover up.

I plan on eventually adding a GPS and the primary use is for playing music and watching movies. The monitor I will be using is one that comes with my air ride management and is touchscreen.
