Anyone try SP13000 Sata Raid

I'm upgrading to the SP13000 and I was wondering if it is worth looking into doing a RAID setup on the two SATA ports. Would the bootup time be reduced if RAID 0 (striping) was used?

Longer than without it.
RAID is silly in the car. Two hard drives will eat up precious limited power and the performance gains are minimal.

The idea is ok.

in raid 0 is the samme as mirroring

2 disk at the same size. exm. 2 * 40 GB = 40 GB

IF one of them brake down, it run from the other, and you can replace the first one...

Wrong.
RAID 0 is a stripe set. Basically, it writes across both physcial disks at once.
RAID 1 is mirroring, which provides the redundancy of which you speak.
