Post 9.5" LCD from allelec.com & motherboard w/ onboard sound

Is anyone using the 9.5" greyscale LCD from
http://www.allelec.com/VGALCD.html with a motherboard that has onboard sound (and network) successfully?

if so, what mobo are you using...

It works pretty well for $90. It's definitely impossible to see if it's sunny, but i've got it positioned in my car so that it's shady enough for me to use.

My main beef is that it doens't work in the motherboard I bought for it which i'm really surprised by. I tried it in 5 different computers and the only it doesn't work in is the mobo that I bought for it. So I'm looking for a new one, but want to make sure that it'll work...

Hi, I am interested in using this LCD to set up my car mp3 player. It looks like a good buy for only $90 (for both LCD+controller!) On the allec.com site it mentions that filter caps and lcd cable are missing from the board. How/where did you find the missing parts to make it work? Thanks for any info!
