mp3 player able to plug to amplifier like radio?

Hello,

I want to have an mp3 player in my car but i don't want a radio, i wanted something that i can remove when i'm off the car.. something like.. plug my mp3 player and listen trhought the amplifier and coluns.. is that possible? And there is any media player with tv out? so i can plug to a psone screen or something like that?

well this faq answer my first question on how to plug an mp3 player to anamplifier.. what about the 2nd question? there is any cheap multimedia player with tv out so i can plug it to a psone screen?

Or any gadget that i can plug a external HD...(not a radio neither a complete computer)
I guess i'm looking for something like this.. if i understand correct i can connect an external HD to this and also a PSONE screen...

hello i know how to plug an mp3 player direct to an amplifer... but i heard the result wont be great.. anyone to explain me please?

Because the output on most mp3 players isn't a true line-out signal, and even if it is, it doesn't put out a lot of voltage, so you're going to have to crank the amplifiers all the way up to get much sound, which could make the amplifiers fail.

I am interested in a similar setup and was wondering if there is a line-out signal amplifier/booster. Something available that is a simple plug in device. I am looking into something similar to this setup and would hate to have to crank the amps for the mp3 and then switch to the headunit with the same settings

This is what I use to boost my XM output to my factory radio, and now my CarPC to my EQ. Works really well and hasn't had any problems.
