super lcd problem

alright here is the problem i have a via V board 800 mhz and a a maxtor 60g hd and 256mb ram and a super lcd. the first time i installed the screen drivers everything worked fine even the touch drivers and i ran the 25 point cal, then the other day i switched screens to my 17in now when i plugged in my super i cant run the 25 point cal, it reads the drivers i can touch but i cant
set the cal on it so i have to use my mouse. i just got done reinstalling xp so i don't know what the hell to do anymore. any ideas

try going into device manager and update the driver for the touchscreen. windows likes to load a default driver and it will look like all is installed correctly. you have to update and point it to the driver on the disk. good luck.

The touch screen controller is the same as in all our LCDs... make sure you have recent drivers. Windows is picky with those drivers for some reason.

Yea. I actually had to install the egelax drivers (not the drivers on the cd mind you) before installing any drivers for any other devices (chipset, audio, gfx, etc).

thanx for the feed back but fixed it after i posted just hit the mange device under my computer and there i had the option to do the 4 point cal

What a thread-jack. This thread has nothing to do with Widcomm, Bluetooth or anything of the sort. A guy is having problems with is touchscreen, and appears to have resolved it. (Congrats, jurassic262!)
