epia sp13000 problems

ok so here is my situation.

im using an m1 psu and sp13000 mobo. i have been able to get the m1 to blink twice rapidly, which means a startup sequence error.

however, it doesnt even try to power up the motherboard at all. when i connect just a regular atx 20 pin with an atx psu the cpu fan spins, but nothing else receives power for more than a second.

i hear no beeps, even when i take out the RAM. i get no vga signal, or keyboard power other than when i switch on the psu and then the lights go off.

i was reading the sp13000 manual, and it showed a 2 pin slot where a 12v wire will "power the rest of the board". well, i found a 2 pin connector and wire from the m1. it was white and green. on the manual to the psu it says that should be connected to the power switch on the mobo. should that go in that 2 pin slot?

if pictures would help i can get some up.

thanks

can you post a pic of the 2 pin slot on the motherboard?

there is a jumper that you need to attach the M1-ATX to so that it can trigger a power-on/off to the motherboard..

Here is a pic that will show you the general area of where the jumper is... check your manual that came with the motherboard to be sure

The two pin plug circled in post #6 should not be hooked to anything. It is an optional +12V_PWR connection for accessories. Don't use it (at least until you get the board working without it.)
