Special USB to serial adapter

Does anybody know of, or own a serial to USB adapter that actually "wakes up" after hibernation ? I have a Belkin one that doesn't and I have to use a small script (with devcon) to restart it, in order to be able to use it. Thanks!

I use an IOGEAR that wakes from hibernation and runs XM just fine. Model GUC232A.

like any other hardware device, USB-serial adapters use software drivers. If the people who wrote the drivers didn't add in proper support for hibernation, then no, it won't work, and unfortunately a lot of companies don't bother putting in such support in their drivers. The USB device will receive power, but if it doesn't have hibernation support then it needs to get re-initialized before it will work with windows again (which usually means unplugging/replugging it, or forcing it to re-initialize with a script or something, as NRG did)
