moahdib I have a question about your pioneer dvd...

I was wondering if you could tell me the height of the drive, without all the electronics? I want to add one to my setup, but I don't have any space (height-wise) I do have the space to place the electronics next to the actual drive.
Do you know if that's possible? just curious before I go out and buy a dvd, to find out that it's not possible..

thanks

im not sure what u mean by that cuz the height of a cd-rom drive is the same for all. If i take the cover out the hight doesnt change by much maybe 1/4 of an inch less.

Now i gotta spray the front bezel black =) and think of maybe making another window mod on the hard drive this time hehe

Man after I saw that mod I searched for other similar mods and found a hard drive window that looked pretty sweet. So I go and pull out my spare 4gigs HD and while trying to pry it open of course I drop it and get i full of dust and cat's hair.

Oh well, I guess I'll have to go to the flea market/swap meet this weekend and hope they have a small drive for sale (man, being a broke student sucks).

And they all laughed at me for doing a 4GB HDD window mod....
I'm glad people are realizing the wonderful benefits of having a see-through case!
