Just curious,

How come the MSRP are not listed for these boards?
I think price is always a big factor in the purchasing decision, isnt it?

MSRP is not easy to find for them.

Hehe,

I c, but if we are able to feed some prices, is it anyway you can maintain that?
eg. I believe the Kontron 986LCd-M/mITX has MSRP $395.

Again, just curious.

I can.

I plan on going back through this and some other threads with some modifications that should make this easier to read.

Is the Itox G5C100-N-G Core Duo/Solo Mini ITX Motherboard, shown here the same as another listed elsewhere, and I missed it?

ok guys - because I'm getting extremely busy, and because this list is growing out of control for one person to maintain, I've started a WIKI page for it: http://www.mp3car.com/wiki/index.php/Mini-itx
Yes, it still needs to be formatted. If someone wants to take it on, GO FOR IT! Remember, the wiki here is built by the users...so don't be shy.

Everything you can put in there will help someone.

So please! Have at it!

is s3 standby not a major factor to anyone else but me? Not all motherboards have this feature and I have been looking through the motherboards on these forums ones I am quite interested in but not sure to buy being so I cant find if the board has s3 standby.

However Standby mode also continues to draw power. Hibernation does not.
It's a trade-off.

If that's something you would like to see I suggest you do the research and post it up. I will add the information to the information about the boards.

Alot of motherboards you read up on the manufacturers websites dont state the standby options which make it hard to find out unless tried.

Wrong thread but...

I use hibernate when I leave car. Powersupply configured to stay on for 30s or so before comencing hibernation. If "off" is pressed when motor is running I simply turn off screen, and the system seems to have 0s restart.

This is handled by a $69 8051 system ->
