Stuck on "Mainboard" screen

Whenever i boot up my carputer, it gets stuck on the VIA Mainboard Screen before i even have the option to go into the bios.

Any Suggestions?

Have you tried resetting the CMOS?

yes, i think so... i lost my manual for the motherboard. But i pulled the jumper off where it said Cmos on the mobo. I assume this is how to reset the cmos. I also took the battery out and back in too.

Its a Insight p4 mini itx

To reset the CMOS you have to pull the jumper from pins 1 and 2 (usually) and seat it on 2 and 3 for around 10 seconds before reseating it on 1 and 2, another method would be to remove the battery for a few minutes.

Another reason for the PC to freeze before POST is a poorly seated component, if reseating everything doesn't help it could be bad RAM.

Actually, that VIA screen is your indication to press whatever key enters the BIOS setup (usually DEL).
Have you tried to press DEL to enter the BIOS?

You should also be able to press ESC to show you the normal POST screen instead of the VIA splash screen.
