That's a very good question! Do these flash drives also have a limited read/write life like the Compact Flash cards or are they imune from that?

I have one of the 256mb versions of these, installed Win95 as a test, and the boot time ranged at about 9 seconds. Not a bad little piece of hardware, I just wish it was a little bigger so I could use Windows 2000 on my car player.

actually thats not a bad price for 850 mb,but thats not why i posted it. smashr2k was wondering how much a gig of flash storage would cost, and the largest i could find was what i posted above.

Is there any problem with these having a limited number of writes?
(like compact flash or diskonchip)
if windows is using a swp file it could toast it pretty quick.
