Onstar Module

I was wondering where the OnStar module in a Saturn Ion 2 is located if any knows. I want to try and tap into the antena and use it for my GPS / XM. I hope that this is even possible so I will have to wait and see. Thanks to anyone that can comment.

Don't know the location but this might help:

I have a Motorola Oncore VP 8 channel GPS receiver myself that I bought back in 2001 for only $14.95 at a dump shop. I made a TTL->RS232 converter for it and it is running in my car ever since. Use it for my PDA and CARPC.

Or check: http://www.saturnfans.com/forums/sho...nstar+location

Thank you for the response. I cant view the i-hacked site right now because I am work, but I will try it when I get home. If that is the how to for converting the Onstar box to Serial I have read several times.

I couldnt seem to find a good staturn forum, maybe i wasnt searching right last night. GOod find.

well i posted something earlier, but i apparently didnt work. I found the Onstar module in my car for anyone that would like to know. It was hidden next to the rear speakers. I have attached some pictures of the connections so that i can get some feed back on if i will be able to use the antena. I know that one is an XM connection for the old style boxes. The gps connection i am not sure if i will be able to or not. I hope so.

not sure think its the XM connection

not sure but think its the xm connection

says its GPS under it.
