Both the memory and the HD are 100% new, I also tried a different RAM stick.

Tomorrow I'll do defrag and chkdsk

To be thorough do it in this order:
a) In the BIOS select "Load Optimized settings" & "Save"
b) disable hibernate
c) reboot
d) chkdsk C: and enable all options for fixing/checking
e) defrag
f) enable hibernate

I changed the HD for another HD and now hibernates!
