Carputer friendly mobile phone suggestions?

Im in the market for a new phone and I want it to be carputer friendly, with the most features available and ease of use. Im looking for people who are using phone integration now.. what phone they use, what features they use with the carputer, cable or bluetooth connection and what software and front end they use with it. Specific phone models that I can look at would be great. nokia is out of the question.

first its not the phone that matters, it's your bluetooth device
u need one with a broadcom stack, like the linksys BT-100 class-1 usb for example.
Without a broadcom chipset based bluetooth device, your going nowhere.

While I a have such as system, do yourself a favor and get a Parrot bluetooth device or something similar wish I did.

I use Phoco which is integrated with RoadRunner. Some of the challanges you will face:

Feedback from speakers creating echo - I use a mic cut off switch

Delay of handsfree, when people call and it rings the handoff from the phone to the carpc creates a lag, so the person does not hear a ring just silence for about 2 seconds

Bluetooth connection issues - I am on my third dongle, the MSI Starkey worked except for the fact it would randomly disconnnect. Now going for the recommended Belkin which is on order.

etc etc etc

alright, thanks for the info. So a Belkin uses a broadcom chipset? I bought a cheap ebay one that uses this crappy blue soul or something, its so crap cant integrate anything, it cant even work its own driver software sometimes. Any other recommended brand names? And what phones are you two running? What Front end you running zip?
