VoomPC-2 and Via SN-18000G

Does anyone know if the VoomPC-2 is compatible with the VIA Sn-18000G? I am thinking about buying the 2. Any infor would be greatly appreciated.

That VIA SN 18000G CPU cooler is huge. My Intel D201GLY2A barely fits inside the voompc-2 case, so if it's any taller than that then definitely not.

I don't really see the advantage to using this motherboard over the $75 Intel board. It may offer PCI express graphics slot, but that won't do you any good if you use the voompc-2 case. Intel board is faster, fits, and costs much less.

as per the manual it says that it is only 34.7mm high its just a bit higher than the ram

Looks like you'll have no problem clearing as the intel board's CPU heatsink/fan is 45mm tall.

Go with a case from www.mo-co-so.com. Although slightly taller than a voom, it's very rigid and my Intel D201GLY2A fits with plenty of room. The cases are also very close in price.
