Buying fiberglassing and carbon fiber products..

I know in terms of the carbon fiber, I pretty much have to go to a specialty supplier, but for fiber glass are the products you can find at Home Depot ok? Or am I better off in terms of quality to go to a specialty supplier?

Any brands to stay away from? and brands that are highly recommended?

Thanks,

P

i forgot the brand i used at home depot but it was ok. It still looks good on my friends car 3 years later. I dunno if you ever used fiber glass but have fun with the itching

Prolly better and cheaper to go to a fiberglass shop. Plus you can get the size you need without buying a huge friggin' sheet.

The place I bought mine from sold by wiehgt and it was about 75% cheaper than Home Depot.

Can't recommend any brands, but for fibreglassing stuff, I'd be going to a marine supply store - the kind that sell bits and pieces for boats...
