Am a newbie here...

Will be getting my new 2010 model Audi Q7 and looking to get a Car PC installed. Am considering the following and would like people to advise...

Am in Australia and will be using the PC for Slingmedia, Video play and Internet browsing.


Dreamvision Fanless mini PC with car charger

It has a SiS M672 + SiS 968 graphics, which will hopefully be enough

Xenarc 1530YR monitor with VGA

Hopefully this will not be too small or too big!

I will be using the logitech dinovo mini keyboard

I was actually thinking of the Clarion 15" with DVD player but thought that it only has composite video input which would be terrible for a PC input.

Would appreciate comments from users.

Hey there,

I'd be interested in knowing how you get on in this project, I too live in Australia and found Pioneer computers. When I looked through the site I didn't find anything that suited what I was after but that doesn't look too bad... Though I'd struggle to get a screen that big into my car sadly
