NY Times article about incar mp3

The article really didn't get too involved, it main discussed 3 FM transmitters, and the PhatBox, a proprietary linux box with a removable hard drive and usb2 cradle for in the house. (www.phatnoise.com) the PhatBox is a 800 option on new VWs and Audis..

It's becoming bigger and bigger.

mp3car system is currently FUBAR and finances do not allow for a correction of that situation
Real computer hackers use a rotary cutting tool on their motherboard.

After poking around abit.. for an mp3 only setup this model http://www.phatnoise.com/products/di..._music_keg.php put out by kenwood is not that bad.. with an MSRP of $700 i'm sure you can find it cheaper. With an attractive controller for it. For those of you who have people bugging you to give them in car mp3, this may be a decent alternative for the less technically inclined.
