I have the Dynamic as a company car the suspension on the front has just cracked and I nearly ended up in a hedge off the A1. Apart from that I have the same systems onboard. What version of s/w are you on and have you found the VCD function or the AUX input?..

You bought the yellow Arbath didn't you... I test drove one of those .. I nearly lost my sight

Hi slarty,

Have you got the nav or the nav+? as mine is the nav+ Software V8.5. Yes it yellow and i too loose my sight when drive to staffs to c family 130mph (don't recomend speeding) if in rush. If you don't know already when unit is ON press and hold menu and the diaplay will turn off press any button to bring it back up. You can do the same for the radio, telephone and navigation.

How about
Location Nr. Southampton
Car : 206 GTi (maybe Saxo if i still have it)
System base Specs are being decided at the moment. To include DVD, TV, FM, GPS
State of play: Planning stages
Comments: I have been looking at doing this for a good few years. Now that I have finished working on my old car (www.saxovtr-vts.com for those who want to have a look) I am now looking at putting it into practice. Also the price of components have come down alot and i think its feasible to make a comprehensive system for much less than a comparative head unit / mai system.

Well, I thought I had popped something on the motherboard (either cracked or shorted something).

But I bought a new one in, and the same problem is there (just flashing white bands on the screen which have even stopped now).

I think I've blown the back light inverter for the Taxan Screen I'm using.
Think I've found someone who will sort me out with one shipped for $15 to check it out and test it after Xmas, before I start looking at a new controller (don't know if I can go that spendy yet).

Yea got that about the screen, Sorry for hijacking the thread I will PM next time. I have Connect Nav+ v9.2 You need to see your dealer re the upgrade or I may be able to get a copy at a push from my dealer.

Do people complain regarding an echo on the built in phone?

130... mine won't quite do that speed , I chose the deisel as I get taxed less and I'm afraid I'm old school and couldn't get used to the paddles and gear stick.

I hear you can run VCD on it and or an input but I've yet to see it done

Motorised LCD? I was wondering of anyone had one of these, is it a DIY job? If not, what is it & where did you get it?

Dont ask.... it was a Necvox jobby, a 7" widescreen which I bought from ebay. Worked for 2 weeks then just went all tits up.

I've now built a Centurion 6.4" screen into my dashboard.
