2003 Pontiac Aztec Stereo Removal
My cousin has a 2003 Pontiac Aztec, and can't figure out how to take it out. It is double din. He wants to remove it to put an LCD instead for his carputer. Any ideas would be appreciated. I personally didn't see any Removal holes, like in my 1993 Mercury Sable (Easy as pie). If pics are needed, let me know!
Peace,
The Rafster

LOL
For some odd reason, the server isn't letting me upload the pics. What is the size limit?

Oh, yeah, I meant Din and a half. I must have had a Brain fart when I was writing. Thanks for the advice!

I wish, I hate the way it looks, but this is what my uncle and aunt bought for him. So lets try to give some helpful answers.

Try to pry the radio trim out.
This radio is similar/the same as the one on Pontiac Vibe and Toyota Matrix. The radio openning is a little wider than standard double DIN.
The BIGGEST mistake Toyota made is having GM design the interior/radio for the Toyota Matrix. Why don't they just use the Corolla's radio instead.

GM cars just snap together, so just pry it off. Make sure not to break the fragile clips though. The first time is always the worst, it will be tight.

Guitar333:
It doesn't look like that! I'll post pics as soon as the &%^&^% server lets me.
Does anyone know the size limits on here for attachments?
Peace

Are those camcorder rips? Anyway, I still say just pry off that bezel around the radio area.
