UK based website
im in the process of doing a UK based carpc website.
i registered MPHertz.co.uk (miles per hertz)
just wanted ideas really, im thinkin a forum and a news section, mostly for info, uk/europe group buys, uk meets, EU specific adverts etcetc. just a uk community basically,
i also want to put a section up for "other projects" so people can show thier htpcs, or anything theyre working on.
The site will start to come together after i come back from holiday on the 16th (although i do have to finish my mp3car too )

I think its good idea, maybe it will incresse the interest in car pc aplications in European countries....
I think car tft is an exelent store for everyone who wants to build a car pc, maybe more will apear.(competition betwen sellers his a good thing)
And if we grow into a strong community maybe more Companies in europe will start developing products for european buyers...

great to see some support.
well im goin skiing on sunday for a week, and hope to finish my carpc the week after, but gonna start workin on the site asap.
any help would be appriciated.
cool. i got webhosing, since my brother just started a webhosting company (quick plug for him: www.phurix.co.uk :P )
what i dont want to do is to take anything away from mp3car.com, i just feel a need for a uk/eu presence, especially for group buying, and contacts with eu companies.
sponsorship would be cool too
tom.

mut, hardware reviews would be top notch ( in car enivronments ) consumer reviews don't give the full picture for in car use - I would be willing to write a few up for you...
( also im a webdesigner by profession - so can help with design take a peek at www.bedsscouts.net(database for it is down atm so it'll look wierd ) or www.jprelec.co.uk...

ok, wicked. well as i say, i think between me or my bro or you guys or some combination of the three, the design would be done quite quickly. the content is a big issue though (from where i stand at least, im crap with reviews etc.) so any help there would be tremendous.
id say a month ETA for the website to get up (holiday,gf,mymp3car etc)... although lets call it 2 months to be safe
i think it will be cool.
