Lightbulb New Product - WinMobil Car PC!?!

WinMobil Car PC

Anyone see this advertised anywhere?...it looks tight.

They promise a lot:

WinMobil is the convergence of vehicle guidance and control with the personal computing and multimedia experience. The result - The ultimate vehicle infotainment system. A single environment providing you with vehicle diagnostic and maintenance tools, voice assisted turn - by - turn navigation, integrated organizer and scheduler with mobile device sync ability, a mobile media center incorporating features normally expected from a home system, web connectivity, emergency services, and safety features such as rear view/child monitoring camera - an experience unlike any other.

Damm seems like a TON of money to pay for a set of PC apps scaled to fit a LCD screen 299 for lite or 599 for PRo.

Commercial s/w

The only thing I'm thinking is that, as a user of Media Engine, I was looking for a more solid, stable and polished app.

If the navigation is included like it states and commercial s/w is about $399 for stand alone laptop nav s/w then it would justify the price considering all the bells and whistles....if not then it doesn't.

What really caught my eye is the interface to use the OEM screens. Since I already have a factory screen in my Maxima, I didn't want to keep the additional display around or do surgery on my system to get it done as I'm sure the dealers would point fingers when it comes to warranty claims no matter what happens after that.
