looking for thread that showed how to clean windows

ive searched oll over here looking for the thread that showed how to clean up windows it went into detail of how to use the reg edit and i want to find this thread

Try Advanced Registry Optimizer, it's free and it gets rid of useless registry keys and defrags and compresses the registry.

Two programs that i have found VERY usefull for getting rid of spyware are;

SpyBot Free
http://www.safer-networking.org/

Spy Sweeper sometimes free
http://www.webroot.com/wb/products/spysweeper/index.php

I usally run both of them. Spyware is not a virus, but programs that run in windows that collect data about the user, and then relays that info to that company. Spyware does not appear in Task Manager. i can get on the internet for 15 minutes and at least pick up one spyware. If your computer seems to be slow booting, then thats the cause. You'll be amazed how fast your computer boots after running these programs.
