I am going to be buying some power tools to build my car computer case, lcd case, ect... and was wondering if anyone has this set? is this ****? looks kind of ****ty..

It looks like a cool set.. I think I'd like to have that set... but maybe a little fragile. Probably more suitable for someone into model building. You might be able to find it useful for some MP3 box work, but I think you'd probably wear them out pretty quickly. IMHO

I actually work at sears, in the hardware department

I've messed with those before, and they're pretty cheap looking.

Depending on what you're doing, all you really need is a power saw ($30), a dremel ($80-100 with all the bits in a set), and a drill ($20)

I think that's about all I've used so far

F**k dremels! I bought one a few months ago and the damn thing broke on my last week! I was using the little wrench that loosens the bit and it wouldn't budge. Like it was super glued in their. I tried for like 10 minutes. Then I used a litle force, and broke the whole head off the dremel. Worthless tool. Plus I used all kinds of little grinding attachments and every single one of them broke and wouldn't grind for s**t. Maybe it's just me, but this thing is a kids tool. Can't handle a real job.

Thanks for the input... I think I will go with individual pieces that will last. As for the dremel debate, I have a friend who has a Roto Zip that he really likes... Might be just the thing for someone who is not happy with a dremel tool.
