Question Member ratings...

I've seen the stars that folks get, but is there any way to receive a rating "X" ???

Images in signatures make bb's look tacky. Has anyone ever seen the something awful bulletin boards and how horrible they look because of all of the images?

If they're done right, they look amazing. The http://www.rx7forum.com is a perfect example. Check the Lounge. Simply amazing what some can do with Photoshop.

I agree w/Aaron, photos in the signatures are nice if done right.

I think it puts a "face" to the name of sorts.

Oh, well...

What about an avatar? Is it possible to use them? I think it would be nice. I small quick loading image (not like it matter to me, but it would for modem folks).

The avatars aren't bad. It's the 400x300+ pixel banners in signatures that are annoying.

I say if it ain't broke don't fix it. I personally would rather not have the pictures since they just mean more scrolling and less information on the screen at once.

Talking

Most forums have a rule about banners. ie. no larger then 40x400 or something, and no using them more then once in a topic. If done right, they look amazing. I took some pictures to make mine with, but since I can't put a banner in my sig I probably won't do anything with them...
