A Questions To The Mods ( Space )

Guys,

Looking at starting a BBS my self for a totally unreleated topic - can you tell me roughly how much space you need for MP3car for the data base / avatars and how much for attachments.

It would be apprciated as I am trying to get an idea so I can plan ahead for when I buy my web space

PS - Any suggestions for a good host would be apprciated as well as I am on budget.

Post number 5, Bgoodman states they use about 40gb/month in its current state.

Amazing how things grow isn't it? MP3car used 91 GB last month and is growing strong. Gonna Need a dedicated server soon. Database is broken down into a few catagories:

Database Data Disk Usage 169.42 MB
Database Index Disk Usage 74.85 MB
Attachment Disk Usage 159.26 MB
Custom Profile Picture Disk Usage 0.86 MB
Custom Avatar Disk Usage 2.97 MB

So do you like auto prune old stuff that has not been accessed for a while ?
