under the radio would be a good spot

the major problem with any wrangler is the dash is so small you really cant work it in anywhere. now swinging it off the center consol is another idea but it will take up some space on the passenger area but screw them.

How exactly were you mounting it up there and was it in good view and light?

i made a bracket that replaced the footmans loop up there.

it was alright, great for viewing, bad for touch screen, plus it also attracted a lot of attention (ie cops)

Yj ?

Ok so there's a few pics of TJs in here... but anyone got any brilliant ideas for a YJ? Right now I have my touchscreen on a mount fixed to that odd angled part of the dash, it's just about at the right height where it doesn't stick up enough to attract attention, and just high enough that I can peek at the gas and temp guage below it.
Just wondering if anyone else has any different solutions!

YJ's

On my YJ, I have been planning to remove the factory gauge clusters...buy some after market gauge's and put them on top of the dash above the steering wheel.
That should free up tons of room for the display.
I already have my radio in the Tuffy center console, so the only thing that will be in on the entire center of the dash is the Fan/heater controls.
Still on step 0 of my carputer install though. one day.

I am actually using this type of mount in my Jeep Liberty. They are stronger than you would think.

Next month I am trading up to a Jeep Wrangler.
