So I did the install, everything is good, then all of the sudden I start getting the Blue Screen of death.....

The carputer is in my trunk without any fans right now, Is it probable that this is the cause of the blue screen? they seem to be relating

Nah, I think most people only put fans in there for the soothing noise. They wouldn't have anything to do with BSOD, would they?

cadence117,

Does your motherboard have ability to moitor temp of the cpu and the case?
If it does, you can use the software that came with the board to monitor the temps and see if there is a heat problem. Another good software is Motherboard Monitor which you can download from http://mbm.livewiredev.com/ I have it run in the system tray. Today it was aproxx 85 degrees outside. After sitting in the sun all day the temp in my trunk was approx 118 degrees. After I fired up my system (and fans) system dropped to 109 degrees for the cpu and 93 degrees in the case. Your system is pretty close to mine, except I use inverter and 300w power supply. What is amazing is that my car pc is running cooler that my home system (case opened).
