my wife got me one of this things, and it kicks ***.
I'm planning to built a sys. around one.
Any help would b great. This unit can play
mp3s,divx and work has a portable hard drive.
I live in NewYork so I travel a lot by train and the Lyra JukeBox
is just to cool.
Just got a car 97 Galant so I want to be able to use it in the car.
At one time I had 17 movies and 900 mp3s.

I have seen these things, they are pretty cool compared to the iPod which is really not all that great. Not sure how I would be able to help you with installing this in your car... does it have AV outputs? im too lazy to read.

why get the lyra? the archos av300 series or av400 series are better products as it is available in higher capcities and is easily upgradable with larger hard drives, batteries, camera etc.

hopefully i win the one(av320) im bidding on in ebay.

Everytime I go to CompUSA and look at the archos it has an orange screen and is not responsive. I asked the sales guy once and he said that they are always having to replace the display model. Also the overall fit and finish seems a bit on the cheap side IMHO.
