Ground Loop Isolator Problems

Problem:
When I plug in my ground loop isolator inline between my rca's from my soundcard and my electronic crossover on my car audio my inverter freaks out.

As soon as I try and turn the inverter on it immediately shuts back down and an indicator light comes on that means Power Overload / Low Battery which I know is not the case because the system works fine without the ground loop isolator.

If anyone else has had this problem please help!

Earth your case. That should fix it. ie join a wire (reasonable gauge) from the computer ground to the car ground.

Thanks BJ. I attached an 8 gauge ground from my pc to a common ground in my truck and all my noise is gone and I didn't even have to use the ground loop isolator.
