Glare solution = tint?

The glare on my lilliput is pretty bad,
not all the time, but when there's full sunlight it can sometimes be pretty difficult to read any small text on the screen.

My first impulse was to tint my windows....
Is this a efficient and effective solution?

if not, how else can you reduce glare

Since the reflected light is coming in through the front, side, and back windows, tint will definitely help. Window tint also makes it a bit darker inside the car, so the screen will appear brighter as well.
