But the more important question is: what would you make it say?
Edit: I've decided that nothing would be more fitting than M.C. Hammer's "UHOH, UHOH."

I think it's just a 12v piezo chime. If you find where the chime is, you can physically remove it and replace it with another one.

Well your occupation is Student. So I would have to say that you must be relatively young. Plus you were born on December 11th!! So that tells everything!!..... Ok, maybe not.. I am going to bed.

LOL She's not that young. It's a picture of one she holds dear. Leave it at that? You can't say the same about the other avatars in this thread though. I really need sleep...

Maybe you could replace it with the innards from one of those recordable christmas cards - "Oi! Shut the door!!!"

umm...my old maxima used to constantly said "key is under ignition" when my doors is left open. Is that what you're talking about?
And while i'm on the subject, what do I have to do to modified it to tell me that my head lights are on instead of just beeping... Damn, I missed my talking car.

I think some cars use fibre optics connected connected to the headlights to signify that it's on. Or you could just use relays etc
